How It Works
From Configure
to Concrete.
Configure online, book a free virtual session, and walk away with a photorealistic 3D design and a fixed gunite price, same day.
01
Pick Your Model & Configure Online
Choose from six handcrafted gunite models in two sizes, add your preferred options, and get an instant price range, all before you talk to anyone.
02
Submit a Short Intake Form
Share a few details about your project: your chosen model, decking preference, and a photo or two of your yard. No survey required (helpful if you have one).
03
We Come Prepared
Your designer pre-loads your chosen model into the layout tool before the call. When you join, there's already a working draft in your yard to react to.
04
Live 3D Design Session
You and your designer refine the layout in real time: placement, sizing, and finishes as you watch the pool take shape. Typical sessions run 45–60 minutes.
05
Same-Day Proposal
We polish the design after the call and send you a full 3D rendering plus a fixed-price proposal the same day. Revisions are always included. No nickel-and-diming.

Full 3D Design · No Obligation
See Your Pool Built Before We Touch the Ground
Every consult ends with a photorealistic 3D rendering of your chosen model placed in your actual yard. You approve the layout, dimensions, and finishes before a single cubic yard of gunite is poured. No surprises. No scope creep.
Why Choose Us
We built a better way to build.
Gunite quality. Fiberglass pricing. No liner to replace. Switch tabs to see how the math changes.
The Cocktail Pool Co.
Gunite quality. Fiberglass pricing.
Size & use case
Designed specifically as a hangout pool — not a lap pool scaled down. Swim-in-place devices available if you want the workout option too.
Pricing
We build real gunite for what fiberglass dealers charge for a prefab shell. No factory markup, no middleman margin.
Durability
PebbleTec plaster on every build. It will need replastering in 15–20 years — but our pools are small, so that job costs a fraction of what it would on a full-size pool.
Build quality
We cut costs at the structural engineering level, not at the finish level. PebbleTec, premium equipment, and engineered builds come standard — even at our base price.
Design experience
Full-time design staff. Consult within days, 3D proposal the same or next day. The entire process from inquiry to contract can take under a week.
Scope
Fully turnkey — pool, deck, landscaping, and structures under one contract. One call, one team, one invoice.
Customization
Our six models cover most yards. If yours needs something different, we offer fully custom concrete builds at higher tiers.
Traditional Fiberglass
A factory shell. Dressed up as a custom pool.
Size & use case
Factory shells come in fixed dimensions — chosen from a catalog, not designed for your yard or your use case.
Pricing
Often $35,000–$55,000 for a comparable small pool, with quote-based pricing that can shift during the build.
Durability
Gel coat fades, oxidizes, and eventually blisters. Resurfacing every 10–15 years is routine — and it's not cheap.
Build quality
Quality depends entirely on the installing contractor. Builder-grade equipment and corner-cutting on finish work are common.
Design experience
Dealers book site visits weeks out and arrive with a brochure. You're committing to a $40,000 purchase based on a photo.
Scope
Shell installation only. Deck, landscaping, and structures are separate bids from separate contractors you have to manage.
Customization
Zero shape flexibility. The mold is the mold. Everyone with that shell has the same pool.
FAQ
You Have Questions, We Have Answers
Straight answers about cost, timeline, the consult process, and what actually happens before we break ground.
Still have questions? and we’ll walk through everything on the call.
Most of what drives up pool costs is overhead: large showrooms, bloated sales teams, and a design-to-build process that was never optimized for smaller pools. We've built our entire operation around cocktail-pool-sized builds: a focused model lineup, a streamlined virtual consult process, and a construction system that keeps our crews efficient on compact footprints. We pass those savings straight to you.
Yes, in most cases. Fiberglass pools are factory-molded, which means you're picking from a catalog and fitting your yard around a shape that wasn't designed for it. Gunite is sprayed in place, so it conforms to your exact footprint: curved corners, irregular lots, tight spaces. It also lasts longer, finishes better, and doesn't limit your depth options the way a fiberglass shell does.
The base price covers your chosen model fully installed in gunite: shell, plumbing, basic equipment (pump, filter, chlorine system), and standard plaster finish. Decking, premium finishes, add-ons like a heat pump or automation, and any custom modifications are quoted separately. You'll see the full breakdown in your proposal before you commit to anything.
The six models are starting points, not hard limits. Minor adjustments (depth changes, step configurations, water features) are usually accommodated. Significant shape or size changes move into our custom-engineered tier, which we can quote separately during your consult.
Helpful, but not required to get started. We use GIS aerial data to get an initial read on your yard. You'll need a survey eventually to pull permits; we can point you to a surveyor if you don't have one on file.
Typical timeline is 10–16 weeks from signed contract to completed pool. Permitting is the wildcard and varies by municipality. We give you a fixed construction schedule before you sign anything.
Yes. No consultation fee, no design deposit, no obligation to move forward. The one condition: the design we create is exclusive to your project. We don't share our designs, and you can't take them to a competing builder for a price match.
We'll schedule a brief in-person walkthrough to confirm grades, confirm your material selections, and sign the contract. After that, you go on our build schedule and we handle permitting on our end.
Make as many as you need. Revisions are included. We'd rather you fall in love with the plan before concrete is poured than deal with change orders mid-build.
